This site is general information, compiled from published research. It is not medical, nutritional, or professional advice, and it does not create any clinician-patient relationship.
It cannot account for your child's age, weight, allergies, medical history, or diet. Decisions about what to feed an infant should be made with a pediatrician or other qualified professional who knows your child.

Accuracy and currency
The information here is compiled in good faith and linked to its sources so you can check it. Even so:
- Testing is batch-specific. A clean result for one production run says nothing about another.
- "Non-detect" is not zero. It means below a particular laboratory's detection threshold, which varies.
- Lists change. Products have been removed from third-party clean lists after retesting or recall.
- Recalls happen without warning and will not be reflected here in real time.
- Reformulation happens. A brand may change ingredients or suppliers at any time.
Always check current recall notices at the FDA recall database (opens in a new tab) and verify against the primary sources listed on the main page.
NO ENDORSEMENT
Brand and product names appear for identification and discussion only. Their inclusion is not an endorsement, and their absence is not a criticism. We have no commercial relationship with any brand, retailer, laboratory, or testing organisation named here, and we receive no affiliate revenue, sponsorship, or payment from any of them.
Where a source we cite carries affiliate links of its own, we say so at the point of citation.

We link to external research, agencies, and reporting. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. All trademarks belong to their owners.
No warranty
This site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current.
Limitation of liability

Copying and reuse — please do
This page exists so other parents don't have to repeat the research. You are actively encouraged to use it.
The content — the tier lists, the wording, the way it is organised — is released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (opens in a new tab). You may copy it, print it, post it, translate it, put it in a parenting group, hand it out at a clinic, or build something better on top of it — including commercially — as long as you credit the source and link back.
The code — the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — is released under the MIT licence. Fork it and do what you like.
What is not ours to licence: the underlying research belongs to its publishers — Healthy Babies Bright Futures, Consumer Reports, the FDA, Lead Safe Mama, and others. We link to their work rather than reproduce it, and our licence cannot grant you rights to theirs. If you want to republish their data, tables, or lab reports, ask them.
Brand and product names belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.
Two things travel with the licence, not as favors. CC BY 4.0 §3(a)(1)(A) requires you to retain the notices supplied with the material — including the notice referring to the disclaimer of warranties, which is printed at the foot of the main page. §3(a)(1)(B) requires you to indicate that you modified it. Under §6(a), failing to comply ends your licence automatically unless cured within 30 days.
Adaptations are not endorsed. Under §2(a)(6), attribution does not permit you to assert or imply that a modified version is connected with, sponsored by, or approved by this site. We do not review adaptations and disclaim all responsibility for them. Under §3(a)(3) we may require attribution be removed from any adaptation, and we will do so where a modified version drops the medical disclaimer, removes the source links, or presents unreliable feeding guidance under this project's name.
One request, not a legal condition: if you copy the lists, please keep the source links attached to them. A claim about what is safe to feed a baby is only worth what its citation is worth, and stripping the links turns verifiable research back into hearsay.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at a volume that degrades service, or present its content as professional medical guidance.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change when they are, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of New York, in the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Queens County, New York.
